In July 2024, the College of Science Library (CSLIB), through its Research and Extension Services (RES) section, formally launched the Research Data Services (RDS) to further strengthen its support for the College of Science faculty and researchers. This initiative underscores the Library’s commitment to delivering responsive and specialized assistance across the research process.

The RDS builds upon established library services such as literature searches, reference management and formatting, plagiarism checking and certification, journal verification, bibliometrics, and the promotion of research outputs. These services are further supported by informational content shared through email newsletters and short-form videos on topics such as research impact metrics (Impact Factor), publication requirements (APCs), and research tools.

Through the establishment of the Research Data Services, CSLIB expands its role as a research partner—one that not only provides access to resources but also empowers the College of Science community in producing, managing, and disseminating knowledge.
